Two Days In A Row!

I'm back with more! Today, I'm sharing with you a card for Mother's Day! The colors used in this are Pink Passion, Chocolate Chip and Very Vanilla. The butterfly was cut using the Big Shot (my very favorite new toy) and some left over plastic packaging. I heat embossed the tips of the bottom wings and the wide oval punch out. Also, I used the scallop punch which was a Sale-A-Bration item that is not currently available, BUT will be returning in July with the new catalog!

I have spent a lot of time perusing blogs, and forums with my eye out for ideas and starting points ever since I became a consultant in February, and one that I keep coming back to is Late Night Stampers. There is so much eye candy in this group! I am constantly amazed by the amount of creativity in this group. If you are so inclined, you should check it out! The link is:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/StampinUpLNStampers/. They have a great design team who plans several challenges a week. It is certainly causing me to push my personal limits and go out on a limb with my creativity.

Aside from stamping, not a whole lot is going on around here. My husband starts school tomorrow after being laid-off. I think he's excited, though it doesn't show. I'm glad to have him home. The kids are enjoying it, and things in our house seem much less chaotic with one of us home. I had my turn as a stay-at-home parent, so now he gets to experience the joys!

Happy Stamping!

I am not a very good blogger! I have been busy, busy, busy! Lots of stamping has been going on between work and family, so I have lots to share!

On breaks at work, I peruse the Late Night Stampers yahoo group, blogs (there are some VERY talented artists out there!) and the Stampin' Up website to get my creative fix when I can't get my hands on paper and ink. I sometimes wish I didn't have to spend so much time working so I could spend more time playing, but for now, this is how it has to be. Maybe one of these days, Stampin' Up! can be my business and my playtime!

This card is the first one I shared with the public. I CASE'd it from someone off the Stampin' Up! website. I used my favorite stampset Vintage Vogue, and the sentiment is from a Sale-A-Bration set called Whimsical Words. It has a Rich Razzleberry base, and Whisper White cardfront. The ink colors are Rich Razzleberry, Brocade Blue, Old Olive and Chocolate Chip. There are later versions of this same card that I used the Curly Label punch and pop-dotted the sentiment and chocolate chip ribbon across the bottom.

There are many more, and some fun stories about the last month to share with you, but now I must get to work! See you soon!
